Ukraine's air force said Russia launched scores of drones and several ballistic missiles at Ukrainian territory in the same window, with most drones intercepted but some missiles getting through; strikes on the Kharkiv region killed at least two civilians and wounded others, Ukrainian authorities said. The exchanges underscore how, with negotiations deadlocked, both sides are leaning harder on long-range strikes. ## Diplomacy at a standstill The intensifying air war unfolds against frozen talks.
