Prosecutors say Big U offered inmates money to kill a witness against him

  • A superseding indictment unsealed on Thursday accuses Eugene Henley Jr., the South Los Angeles music executive and anti-gang nonprofit founder known as Big U, of offering money to two fellow inmates to kill or harm a witness against him.
  • He has been in federal custody for more than a year.
