Exiled Chinese Tycoon Guo Wengui Sentenced to 30 Years for $1 Billion Fraud

  • Guo Wengui — the self-exiled Chinese businessman and one-time ally of Steve Bannon — was sentenced Monday to 30 years in federal prison for a sprawling fraud that prosecutors say stripped more than a thousand of his followers of over a billion dollars through sham media and cryptocurrency ventures.
