Roberts says the Dodgers won't rush Ohtani's return to the mound: 'It's about October'

Shohei Ohtani hasn't pitched since July 3 because of left knee irritation, and manager Dave Roberts says he won't be back in the rotation next week: 'too early.' Ohtani keeps hitting in the meantime, batting leadoff with 22 home runs, and his pitching line, 8-2 with a 1.79 ERA, is why the Dodgers are being patient.
'It's not about July, it's about October.'
