Five years on Crenshaw Boulevard the fences are still up and residents want a date
- Destination Crenshaw was conceived as the Crenshaw District's answer to a Metro line cutting through it at street level: a 1.3-mile open-air museum of work by Black artists.
- Construction started in 2021.
- At a community meeting Thursday, business owners and a pastor described five years of blocked parking and lost customers, and asked the only two questions that matter now: when does work restart, and when does it finish.
