Overloaded Bus Plunges Into a Ravine in Pakistan, Killing 40
- A passenger bus traveling from Quetta to Peshawar lost control and plunged into a deep ravine near the border of Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa provinces on Friday, killing 40 people and injuring several more, officials said.
- Police said speed was a likely factor, and the bus was carrying passengers it had picked up from another vehicle that had broken down.
