At least 67 people died crossing into Ceuta and Spain has put a barrier in the sea
- Between Thursday and Friday, somewhere between 50,000 and 60,000 people crossed from Morocco into Ceuta, the Spanish city on the North African coast.
- At least 67 died, some by drowning and some crushed against the breakwater.
- By Friday evening Spain said 48,300 had gone back.
