Westward Beach Road and the Point Dume parking lot are closed for erosion

The City of Malibu posted the closure at 6:12 p.m.
Saturday: Westward Beach Road beyond the pay gate, and the Point Dume Beach parking lot, are shut until further notice.
LA County says the bluff edge has dropped off by as much as 8 feet in places and that three restrooms are out after erosion damaged a water line.
