An FDA panel backs wider access to gray-market peptides, over its own scientists' doubts
- An FDA advisory panel voted by narrow margins to recommend letting specialized compounding pharmacies make six of seven peptides now sold on a booming online gray market, from BPC-157 to TB-500.
- FDA scientists warned there are few or no human trials and real risks, and two panelists said they could not vote yes.
- Any rule change could take until 2028.
