A Koreatown muralist paints back the Korean culture that vanished from its walls

Dave Young Kim, 46, grew up in Koreatown surrounded by murals of Korean drummers, dancers and historical figures.
Most are gone now.
This summer he finished a new one at a senior housing complex, built from interviews Koreatown youth conducted with their elders, an attempt to put the neighborhood's Korean story back on its walls.
