NASA astronaut Chris Williams and Russian cosmonauts Sergei Kud-Sverchkov and Sergei Mikaev returned to Earth on Sunday, their Soyuz MS-28 capsule parachuting onto the Kazakh steppe after 241 days aboard the International Space Station, a routine end to an eight-month mission and a quiet reminder that US-Russian cooperation still holds in orbit.
