Carvalho Resigns as LAUSD Superintendent After FBI Searches; Chait Takes Over

Alberto Carvalho has resigned as superintendent of the Los Angeles Unified School District after four months on paid administrative leave that followed FBI searches tied to a district technology contract.
Veteran administrator Andrés Chait has been named to lead the nation's second-largest school system.
