A Robotic Spacecraft Races to Rescue NASA's Falling Swift Telescope

  • NASA has launched an audacious rescue: a small robotic spacecraft, built by a startup, is on its way to grab an aging space telescope whose orbit is decaying and nudge it higher before it burns up in the atmosphere.
  • If it works, it will be the first time a commercial craft has docked with a government satellite never designed to be caught.
