'Trump Accounts' are live, with $1,000 per baby, and some parents are still waiting

The federal savings accounts, seeded with $1,000 from the Treasury for babies born 2025 through 2028, went live July 4.
More than 7 million are open.
The money is locked until the child turns 18 and meant for school, a first home or a business.
