FDA Clears Zyn to Be Advertised as Less Harmful Than Cigarettes

Federal regulators have authorized Zyn nicotine pouches to be marketed with claims that switching completely from cigarettes lowers the risk of serious smoking-related diseases — the first such designation for any nicotine pouch, and a decision that reopens a contested public-health debate over addiction and youth use.
