FDA Clears Zyn to Be Advertised as Less Harmful Than Cigarettes

  • Federal regulators have authorized Zyn nicotine pouches to be marketed with claims that switching completely from cigarettes lowers the risk of serious smoking-related diseases — the first such designation for any nicotine pouch, and a decision that reopens a contested public-health debate over addiction and youth use.
