Oil briefly tops $100 a barrel as the Iran war flares, and gas nears $4.10

Brent crude crossed $100 on Thursday morning before easing to $99.70, up about 28 percent in a month and the highest since May.
The trigger: Houthi strikes on two Saudi tankers, renewed U.S.-Iran fighting, and a U.S.
blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, which carries a fifth of the world's oil.
