Stephanie Potter, 72, was crossing at Main and Ocean when a teenager on a Sur-Ron struck her.
She spent two weeks in intensive care with fractures to her leg, hand, nose and jaw.
Four months on, she is campaigning for families to understand what these machines actually are.
